Materials We Work With

  • Corrugated Plastic

Lightweight, durable, and cost-effective. Our most popular divider material. Available in standard, ESD-conductive, and anti-static grades. Also available with laminated surfaces for Class A finish applications, including:

    • Tyvek laminated
    • Spunguard laminated
    • Brushed polyester laminated

Corrugated plastic dividers are die-cut for fast, precise, repeatable production.

  • Solid Plastic Sheet

For applications requiring a stiffer, smoother, or more cosmetically refined partition. We work with:

    • ABS
    • Styrene
    • HDPE
    • Acrylic
    • Polycarbonate

(.010″ – .500″) Thin-gauge material is die-cut. Thicker gauges are precision-cut on our CNC router table (120″ x 75″ capacity) for complex shapes, tight tolerances, and large-format parts.

  • Hardboard

When you need a rigid, dense partition that won’t flex under heavy loads — hardboard and wood composite dividers are the answer. These are CNC-routed to your exact dimensions and are a popular choice for VLM (vertical lift module) and ASRS tray applications. Popular in .125″ thickness, hardboard is also available in other thicknesses.

  • ESD

Protecting sensitive electronic components? We supply dividers in both conductive and anti-static corrugated plastic and solid sheet materials, ensuring your parts handling stays static-safe throughout the entire workflow. Kiva has been on the leading edge of ESD-safe packaging for over 25 years.

Custom Printing on Any Surface

Thanks to our digital flatbed printing capability, we can print directly on virtually any surface we fabricate — including rigid materials that most fabricators can’t touch:

  • Corrugated plastic
  • Solid plastic sheet (ABS, styrene, HDPE, acrylic, polycarbonate)
  • Hardboard and wood composites
  • Corrugated paperboard
  • Laminated surfaces

That means full-color logos, part numbers, barcodes, color-coding, handling instructions, and more — on any material. Most fabricators are limited to printing on paper or corrugated plastic. Digital flatbed printing changes that entirely.

How We Build Them

Process Best For Materials
Die Cutting High-volume, repeatable shapes Corrugated plastic, thin-gauge solid sheet, corrugated paper
CNC Router (120″ x 75″) Complex shapes, thick materials, large-format Solid plastic (.100″+), hardboard, acrylic, polycarbonate

All dividers are fabricated in-house at our Anaheim facility. No outsourcing. No middlemen.

Industries We Serve

Our divider and partition systems are in use across some of the most demanding industries:

  • Aerospace — Part-specific trays with precision compartments; AS9100D certified manufacturing
  • Medical — Clean, smooth surfaces; compatible with sterile packaging workflows
  • Electronics / ESD — Static-safe materials for PCBs, ICs, and sensitive assemblies
  • Automotive — High-volume, reusable systems for returnable packaging programs
  • Industrial & Supply Chain — Pick-and-place efficiency, kitting, and inventory organization
  • ASRS / VLM / Automated Warehousing — Lightweight, rigid partitions sized to fit your tray footprint

Why Kiva Container

  • Both corrugated plastic and solid sheet fabrication under one roof — most manufacturers do one or the other
  • Widest material selection available — from economy corrugated paper to precision-cut polycarbonate
  • Digital flatbed printing on any material — including acrylic, hardboard, and solid plastic
  • ESD expertise since the 1990s — we understand static-safe requirements, not just the materials
  • Large-format CNC capability (120″ x 75″) — for oversized or complex partition geometries
  • Class A laminated surfaces available on corrugated plastic for cosmetically sensitive applications
  • AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 certified — quality management you can document and audit
  • Woman-owned California small business — responsive, relationship-driven, no corporate runaround

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between corrugated plastic and solid sheet dividers?

Corrugated plastic (fluted polypropylene) is lighter, lower cost, and ideal for most bin and tray applications. Solid sheet plastic is stiffer, smoother, and better suited for heavy loads, precision-fit compartments, or applications where surface finish matters. We can help you determine which is right for your application.

Can you match dividers to containers I already have?

Yes. Provide us with the internal dimensions of your existing container or tray and we’ll design a divider set to fit. If you have a model number or drawing, even better.

Do you offer ESD-safe dividers?

Yes. We fabricate dividers in both conductive and anti-static corrugated plastic and solid sheet materials. All ESD materials are available in standard and custom sizes.

Can you print on rigid materials like acrylic or hardboard?

Yes. Our digital flatbed printing capability allows us to print directly on virtually any surface we fabricate — including acrylic, hardboard, solid plastic sheet, and laminated corrugated plastic. Most fabricators are limited to paper or corrugated plastic. We’re not.

What's your minimum order quantity?

We work with both prototype/small-run orders and high-volume production. Contact us to discuss your specific volume needs.

What's the largest divider you can produce?

Our largest CNC router table can cut up to 120″ x 75″, giving us large-format capability that most fabricators can’t match. Corrugated plastic die-cutting can also accommodate large sheet sizes.

Do you manufacture aerospace-compliant dividers?

Yes. Kiva Container is AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 certified, which means our quality management system meets the documentation, traceability, and process control requirements of aerospace programs. We regularly produce dividers and partitions for aerospace customers and can support first article inspection, material certifications, and supplier qualification requirements.

Can you make dividers to fit my existing VLM or ASRS trays?

Absolutely. Provide us with the internal dimensions of your tray or the make and model of your VLM system and we’ll engineer a divider set to fit precisely. We work with all major vertical lift module and automated storage and retrieval systems and can accommodate standard and non-standard tray footprints.

Do you supply dividers for medical device packaging?

Yes. We produce dividers for medical packaging applications including device trays, sterilization packaging, and cleanroom-compatible containers. Material selection — including smooth solid sheet plastics that won’t shed particulates — can be tailored to your specific cleanliness and handling requirements.

Can I get a prototype or small run before committing to a large order?

Yes. We welcome prototype and small-run orders. It’s a practical way to validate fit, material, and configuration before scaling up. Contact us to discuss your timeline and quantities.

Do you make dividers for automotive returnable packaging programs?

Yes. Returnable/reusable packaging is actually where Kiva got its start in 1986. We understand the durability, stackability, and cycle-life requirements of automotive returnable programs and can produce dividers in corrugated plastic or solid sheet to complement totes, dunnage trays, and custom containers.
