AS9100D-Certified Aerospace Packaging for Primes, Tier-1, and Defense Suppliers
Aerospace packaging is a quality system problem before it’s a materials problem. Primes and tier-1 suppliers need aerospace packaging with full traceability, documented material certifications, and a quality management system their auditors can recognize on sight.
Kiva Container builds custom aerospace packaging at our Anaheim, CA facility. Both thermoformed and corrugated plastic. AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified. Every part we ship includes lot traceability and material certs — because your quality system requires it, and ours is built around that.
Custom thermoformed trays, ESD-safe aerospace packaging, Class A laminated dividers, and integrated packaging systems for aerospace primes, tier-1 suppliers, and defense electronics — built to your specs under AS9100D.
What We Build For Aerospace
Component Trays and Carriers
Thermoformed aerospace packaging for avionics components, hermetic packages, and assembly subcomponents. Available in conductive, static-dissipative, and cleanroom-compatible materials. Sized to the geometry of your part. Used on assembly lines and for inter-facility shipment.
ESD-Safe Aerospace Packaging
Custom static-safe aerospace packaging for avionics, mission electronics, and sensor modules. Built from conductive plastic corrugated, conductive thermoformables, and static-dissipative PVC. Follows ANSI/ESD S541 for packaging of ESD-sensitive items. Available in thermoformed trays, corrugated boxes, and integrated tray-in-box configurations.
Class A Laminated Dividers and Partitions
Aerospace packaging for cosmetically sensitive parts and finished assemblies where surface contact matters. Laminated surfaces include Tyvek, Spunguard, and crushed polyester — built to fit your container, your tooling fixtures, or your inspection trays. Class A surfaces eliminate scratching and contamination from direct material contact.
Returnable and Reusable Shipping Systems
Multi-trip aerospace packaging for high-value or recurring shipments between facilities. Corrugated plastic construction with returnable/reusable design. Reduces per-trip packaging cost on routine parts moves while maintaining the protection and documentation aerospace shipments require.
Integrated Packaging Systems
Thermoformed component insert in a corrugated outer container, with internal dividers, dunnage, and identification — all from one supplier. Sized for shipment, storage, or assembly-line kitting. Single source means consistent quality documentation and one vendor on your approved supplier list.
Large-Format Components
Our CNC router (120 inch by 75 inch) and flat bed diecutting (78 x 150) handles oversized aerospace components that fall outside standard packaging form factors. Common for nacelle components, large electronic enclosures, and assembly fixture trays.
How We Build It
Aerospace customers typically need a combination of processes within a single package. Our facility runs all three in-house.
| Process | Best For | Materials |
| Thermoforming | Component-specific trays and carriers. Tight tolerances against part geometry. | ABS, polycarbonate, conductive polymers, static-dissipative PVC, ESD acrylics |
| Corrugated Fabrication | Boxes, totes, dividers, dunnage, returnable aerospace packaging systems | Corrugated plastic 2mm to 10mm, conductive corrugated, laminated surfaces |
| Large-Format CNC Routing | Oversized parts, complex geometries, hard materials | Solid plastic sheet 0.100 inch and up, hardboard, acrylic, polycarbonate |
All aerospace packaging is fabricated in-house at our Anaheim, CA facility. Tooling is machined on our CNC mills. No outsourcing. No middlemen.
